NERFU is seeking proposals from the New England community to host its annual senior club rugby tournament, NERFU Cup. The full text of the Request For Proposal can be read and downloaded at this link.
Every year nearly 30 men’s and women’s senior clubs converge in New England to compete for the coveted NERFU Cup. It’s one of the greatest days in the year for rugby bringing together hundreds of players and fans to celebrate the most beautiful game in the world. We invite our members and other allied community organizations to host the event. It’s a wonderful opportunity to gain exposure in the host’s neighborhood and an economic perk for the area.
Important deadlines:
January 15, 2023:
- Deadline to confirm intention to bid (does not obligate the intended to submit a bid)
- Deadline to submit any clarifying questions
January 22, 2023:
- All clarifying questions and answers from NERFU will be published to all parties who declared by January 15 their intention to bid.
February 5, 2023:
- Deadline to submit bids – bids will be accepted from parties who did not declare their interest prior to January 15.
February 12, 2023:
- NERFU will notify the awarded host
