Overview
Franklin Pierce Men’s Rugby team now has a spot available for a head coach. We currently play for the CCRC conference within National Collegiate Rugby. The team is now facing an uphill battle with the new and improved move to this more challenging conference and we are looking for a coach to be able to help us complete this leap not only establishing fundamentals for new members with zero experience on the pitch but also raise the ceiling to our seasoned veterans. FPU Rugby also wants to take this opportunity to create a cultural shock and change the notion of our team not only around campus but within our conference as well.
Criteria
1. Experienced player or coach at either a collegiate level or within adult leagues
2. Committed to the bettering of FPU Rugby in the upcoming years
3. Have a vision of the team and leadership moving forward
4. Strong interpersonal communications skills
5. High level of cultural awareness and capability to adapt to a unique and small university environment
6. Computer skills and film review literacy
7. Be an active participant/voice in the conference and local/national rugby
8. Committed to traveling to Franklin Pierce and other competition for practices and games
9. A commitment to building relationships with our players on the pitch as a mentor and leader
