Seacoast Rugby is looking for a new head coach to lead our women’s+ team, beginning as soon as possible (August 2023). We are a D3 Club working to improve and grow our program. Seacoast was originally founded in 1998, took a hiatus for a few years, and reformed in 2019.
Qualifications:

World Rugby L1 certified (formerly USA Rugby L200) or higher
Responsibilities:

Attend practices 2x per week in Dover, NH

Competitive season: August – October

Spring development: April – May

Teach fundamental skills to new and experienced players

Progress skills that work to develop play

Develop practice plans with captains

Work with captains to run practices, if necessary

Attend home and away games on weekends (typically around 6 per season)

Work with captains on starting line up, subs, and game plan

Provide sideline support (managing subs, etc)

Provide feedback and adjust practice plans based on performance
Compensation:

Stipend provided, based on experience and commitment.

Reimbursement of USA Rugby registration fees

Access/reimbursement for rugby coaching support/drills site

Coverage of USA Rugby coaching certification/continuing education
